
Horror flick 'Arundhati Bungalow' in Aug 3rd week
Hollywood’s horror flick ‘1408’ based on Stephen King short story of the same title was jointly made by Dimension Films & Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. The film’s budget was about Rs 120 crores and its net profit was Rs 520 crores.
Now being dubbed into Telugu with the title ‘Arundhati Bungalow’ by Muthyala Ramdas under Lakshmi Venkatasai Films banner, the film is directed by the Swedish director Mikael Hafstrom, who earlier directed the horror film ‘Drowning Ghost’. The cast includes ‘2012 Yugaantham’ fame John Cusack, Samuel L Jackson and Mary McCormack.
Mike Enslin (John Cusack), an author who specializes in the horror genre and investigates haunted houses, eventually learns of ‘Room No. 1048’ inthe Dolphin Hotel in New York City. Hence he decides to spend a night in the hotel even after receiving a strong warning by the Hotel manager Olin (Samuel L Jackson). How Enslin encounters a series of bizarre experiences in the room is the film all about.
According to Muthyala Ramdas, the movie will keep the audience glued to their seats right from start to end. ‘Arundhati Bangalow’ will be released in theaters in 3rd week of August. The film will be presented by AP Media.
